FLINT, MI — Kettering University is offering a free “Writing a Business Plan” class in Flint on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 1-4 p.m. to aspiring business owners and entrepreneurs.
Presented by the Michigan Small Business Center, the class will cover resources on business planning including market research, marketing, finance, legal, operations and management.
Various materials such as steps and a workbook for creating a business plan draft are included.
The event is free, but advance registration for individuals attending is required and can be made at clients.sbdcmichigan.org.
For those in the early stages of a start-up business, the prerequisite of the class is attending the “Starting a Business” class with the purpose of preparing for the “Writing a Business Plan” class. These classes are offered at multiple locations around the region and state at sbdcmichigan.org/training.
The Small Business Center is a statewide organization funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, providing services including counseling, training, information and resources for new, existing and expanding businesses at no cost to participants.
The I-69 Trade Corridor Region serves Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Sanilac, Tuscola and Huron counties.
